  1. My graphics display shows artifacts or ghosts of the cursor's movement.  You probably need to turn down your graphics acceleration settings or update your graphics driver.  Many graphics card vendors make "approximations" in their highest settings for hardware graphics acceleration to improve speed for games and where the occasional artifact will go unnoticed.  To fix this, go to your Windows Display Properties (you can right click on your Windows background and select "properties" from the menu).  Go to the "Settings" tab and click on the "Advanced" button.  Your graphics card will likely provide its own settings under this option.  On my machine, there is a slider for setting the aggressiveness of the performance acceleration.  Adjust your appropriate setting until you see the graphics artifacts disappear.
